Hi, I’m Leila and I’ve been teaching piano for over 15 years. I teach children aged 5+ to adults of any age – It’s never too late to learn!

Students follow the John W. Schaum Piano Course alongside the ABRSM (Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music) graded music exams. I teach Grades 1-5 piano and music theory.

Face-to-face lessons take place at an Ilford location and online lessons can take place in the comfort of your own home! All you need to get started is a phone, tablet or laptop, an internet connection and of course your keyboard or piano!

Lessons

Each student’s lesson will be different depending on what they are working towards. Most students will be playing through a piano workbook as well as working on their exam pieces.

Piano & Theory Exams

ABRSM piano exams involve playing three pieces, scales, sight reading and an aural section. It’s important that students also learn music theory alongside their piano playing. ABRSM theory exams now take place online.
